What is the difference Omega-3 from Fish and Omega-3 from plants?
Omega-3 from fish contains pre-formed Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) which are directly converted by the body into Prostaglandins which have an anti-inflammatory effect and are responsible for omega-3’s therapeutic effects.
Omega-3 from plants contain alpha-linolenic acid and this acid needs to be converted by the body into Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and then a further conversion to Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) which is once again converted into Prostaglandins.
The body does not produce Omega-3 essential fatty acids, so it is necessary to obtain them through our diet or through dietary supplements.

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 180mg
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 120mg.
