All Watson & Son honey is rigorously tested to ensure that our label claims can be verified by accredited scientific laboratories.

As a member of the NZ Manuka Honey Exporters Collective, our honey will carry either anNPA rating (from 5+ to 25+) or an MGO rating (from 100 - 1600). These are the two standards adopted by the Collective to give you the consumer every confidence that you are buying genuine NZ Manuka Honey with real ant-bacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits, throughout the shelf life of the product.

Certified MGO Manuka Honey

Watson & Son Manuka Honey is harvested from some of the most remote and pristine regions of New Zealand from the flowers of our native Manuka tree. It is a unique taonga (treasure) of our land. Naturally occurring methylglyoxal is an ingredient that is present in genuine Manuka Honey. We guarantee that this Manuka Honey is tested and verified by an accredited laboratory for its methylglyoxal content, measured in mg/kg.
